Intergation Of Arts: I like to interlink movement with storytelling, music, poetry, theatre/acting, arts, painting, music, meditation, yoga, singing, journaling.
Use of Props and Creativity: I love to introduce a variety of props (scarves, dupattas, balloons, hula hoops, music instruments, masks, balls, pillows, blankets etc) while facilitating my sessions in order to help the participants express more freely and boost their creativity, spontaneity, imaginative power and movement vocabulary.
Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) is informed by a variety of theoretical frameworks like human anatomy, human physiology, neuroscience, psychology, somatics, psychotherapy, counselling theories (CBT, Narrative therapy, Social Psychology, Embodiment Theory, Positive Psychology, Feminist Therapy etc).
